Reconceptualising Education: The future of education for the Ghanaian Child

We will be exploring 4 main themes: 

• Philosophical underpinnings: An education system underpinned by decolonial framing of African Values and Philosophy to centre local knowledge and build an equitable society 
• Education across the lifespan: Developmentally appropriate approaches, beginning with a solid foundation (early childhood) through to adult education, to maximise community development through self-actualisation 
• Data insights: Leveraging data to inform the development of policy, pedagogy and practice, to close learning gaps and expand opportunities for all
• Civic education: Cultivating critical agency and collective action to ensure knowledge grounds social change
